ADORABLE BABIES

Babies are adorable, they're so soft and cuddly.
Their weakness softens your heart and you just want to hug and squeeze them. This is the way that God sees us, we're little babes to Him.
And he says adorable things to us;

“The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.” Jeremiah 31:3

When you're in love you want to say al kinds of adorable things to the one you love. It just wells up out of your heart. You always whisper sweet things.

God whispers to us in His love. He can cry out in a loud voice like a thunder also, but He gently whispers to us.

“The LORD said, "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by."

Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD , but the LORD was not in the wind.

After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire.

And after the fire came a gentle whisper.

When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.

Then a voice said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?"
1 Kings 19:11-13

Elijah knew the soft voice of God. God's sheep know His voice.
He leads us gently and lovingly carries us in His tender arms.

When storms arise and we are in desperate need of His help, He sends help to us and stills the storm to a whisper of love, hushing away our anxieties, while holding us tight to His bosom.

“He stilled the storm to a whisper ; the waves of the sea were hushed.
They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men.” Psalm 107:29-31

When someone whispers sweet things in your ear a sweet sensation runs from your neck down to your toes. The warm breath of love spreads a wonderful sensation.

God keeps whispering His love to us and He promises us to lead us to the haven of our desire. He honors His word and He will do as He has whispered to us.

Let me whisper God's love to you, feel His sensational warmth running through your senses. Touch me with His warmth and lead me to the haven of my desire.
