HEALING THE NATIONS

 

NATIONSRevelations 22:1-3
"And He shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him:"

Healing of the Nations

There is a River of Life flowing from the Throne of God
sparkling brightly with the Light of Love
splashing His compassion to the shores of souls

Encircling the earth laid in the ruins of divisions
Seeking searching longing to quench the thirsty ones
recreating paradise within the hearts of mankind

Removing the curse of hatred and death
restoring unity and life eternal
Honoring His promise in merciful control

A treaty is to be kept and not broken
Be it the Treaty of Fort Laramie
or the International Humanitarian Rights by the nations signed

Pipes of oil should not endanger
the rivers of others already having so little left
no effort should be spared to move the danger far away



What we don’t want for ourselves we should not want for others
The environment of Bismack should not be considered more important
than the environment of Standing Rock reservation and its surrounding area

A country divided through the hurts of the past
should be endeavoring to promote healing
division into an oblivion to sway

Fulfilling the mission of the founding fathers bringing the river of Life
protecting the defenseless from slavery
and extortion of imperialistic colonialism
Humanity as one singing in excelsis Deo Gloria

A spirit of fear builds walls where a wall is not needed
closing borders to some religions
condemning the innocent with the guilty few

There is a River of Life flowing from the Throne of God
straight to the hearts of all filling us with the Spirit of Love
saturating the soul glistening like the early morning dew
