"Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Matthew 25:34-39
So many people all over the world are starving physically and spiritually.
They are in desperate need of help. Jesus wants us to care for people in need of help. But often we are so caught up in our own little world, we forget to pray for those in need.
Being naked, is being deprived of warmth spiritually and physically.
Love gives us warmth and clothes us with honor.
We are worthy of Gods love.
We need to love each other with the love of God, it covers us with Gods warmth.
When Adam and Eve sinned they saw that they were naked, God's clothing had been removed from them 'cause sin separated them from Him.
They were cold and lonely.
When you're naked you are completely exposed.
We need to be naked to know who we really are.
Stripped of all our pride and self-righteousness.
It's also the first step to giving yourself completely to God.
When two people fall in love they become one in body and spirit.
They give their body to each other naked as they become one in life and enjoy the warmth of love.
It's the same way with Christ; we are stripped of everything and give ourselves to Him who is the truth.
Praying is the easiest and most effective thing to do to clothe each other.
Not all of us are called to go to the ends of the world, but we are all called to preach the gospel to the whole world.
Prayer is a way of preaching since it causes Gods Spirit to touch the people you pray for and opens doors for them to be delivered from darkness into Gods Holy Light.
Ask God every day to use you to spread the gospel to those in need.
This is our main purpose in life.
When you are busy doing this He will provide in all your needs.
Seek first His kingdom and everything else shall be added unto you!
I'm cold, clothe me with the warmth of God's love.
Love, Monique
