If the Holy Spirit is your friend you are the luckiest person in the universe.
He knows you from the inside out and He loves you still.
“Where can I go from your Spirit?” Psalm 139:7
He understands our weaknesses feels our despair and isn't going to use what He knows about us to condemn us. No, He is here to help us, to comfort us and to make us whole.
“ And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” John 14:16-18
He speaks to us and tells us what the Father wants us to know about ourselves, others, or about His plans for our lives.
He's so tender and sweet, I adore Him. I could never live without Him.
Often people want a sign from God to know if they are taking the right steps. The only sign we'll ever need is the voice of the Spirit.
We are not led by a cloud or fire like in the days of Moses, but by the Spirit of Truth who will guide us into all truth.
He is the fire who was sent at Pentecost.
“In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out; but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out-until the day it lifted. So the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel during all their travels.” Exodus 40:36-38
So how do we hear and recognize His voice?
When you just meet somebody, their voice is strange to you, but the more you meet and talk to that person, the more his/her voice will sound familiar to you.
The Holy Spirit fills you when you worship Him in spirit and in truth.
That's the time when you will come to know His voice.
The more you spend time with Him in worship, the more He will reveal Himself to you and the more His voice will sound familiar.
You will know when He's talking to you.
Sometimes He will reveal amazing things to you concerning your future and you might start to doubt if it really is Him or just your imagination.
But lean on Him and trust Him to lead you in a miraculous way.
He has made incredible promises to people before; Abraham, David, Joseph, Moses, Betty Baxter and so many more.
And He fulfilled His awesome promises.
Sometimes you see certain miraculous things happen and you feel that it's the work of God's Spirit, but it's not really clear to you what He's doing.
Trust Him. Little by little the puzzle will fall into place and the picture will be complete.
I am amazed about God's providence in our lives.
He knows what lies ahead of us and He's already provided for us the things we will need to comfort us.
God is a miracle and so are you!
Never be afraid or ashamed to come to Gods Spirit for help or advice.
He's here just for you. Let Him fill you with His love.
Sometimes it feels like I'm going to explode when His love touches me and flows through me.
I'm addicted to His sweet touch. He's filled with burning desire for you!
Trust Him to lead you into a new tomorrow, where all your dreams come true!
I wrote Him a song, it's a duet, I still need to find the right vocalist to sing it with me.
