THE MELODY OF LOVE

I love music. Many of you do also.
There are so many musical styles, so everybody can enjoy their favorite kind of music.

I already mentioned in a previous article that I promised God I would glorify His name with the songs He would give me to write and sing.
I did glorify Him and I am continuing to do so.

Sometimes though I don't feel inspired to write anything and I just play the piano or guitar and receive nothing from the Lord.

It's not that He isn't giving me a song, it's because I am not able to receive it because my heart is burdened with sorrow or something else.

Then at other times I'm receiving a song instantly without even playing an instrument. It just wells up out of my heart.
I sing all the time though, because it helps me to release my emotions; joyful ones and sad ones.

King David always sang, in every situation.
God loved to listen to Him.
I hope He loves to listen to me too.

Sing to Him in good times and bad times, just like King David.
It doesn't matter whether you have a wonderful voice or not, God hears the voice of your heart that is yearning for Him.
His heart is longing to be with you and if you listen carefully you will hear His sweet love song.

Our lives can be compared to the melody of a song.
God is the songwriter who writes romantic and joyful melodies for each of our lives.
Open up your heart to receive His melody.

The other day I tried something different.
Instead of playing guitar or piano I worked with a computer program called ‘Cakewalk project 5 version 2'.
It's like a complete studio with all the instruments you need right there on your computer.

I' m still just experimenting. I put together the accompaniment of a new song by patching waves and patterns of instruments together.

I tried a different style, old school, and I was happy with the result.
But it still had no melody; it was just a lot of cool music, drums and everything, heading nowhere.

Sometimes our life is also just a lot of noise but we have no clear direction in what to do with it. The melody line is not clear, is it going to be a joyful sound or a sad one?

God wants to give us a clear sound of what our lives should sound like.
He wants to write the right melody for you, one that will bring you love and happiness.
So how do you receive it?

Ask Jesus to come into your life and to reveal Himself to you.
He will help you to live the way He wants you to live and He will sing His wonderful melody of love into your heart.

You will know where you are heading to; A glorious future filled with His love and joy.He will carry you through life's storms and reward you for singing His melody of love.

God did give me a beautiful melody for my computer song, it's very romantic and filled with hope for the soul in desperate need of help.
