SOAR WITH ME

"About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James with him and went up onto a mountain to pray.
As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning.
Two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus.

They spoke about his departure, which he was about to bring to fulfillment at Jerusalem. Peter and his companions were very sleepy, but when they became fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men standing with him.

As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to him, "Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters-one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah." (He did not know what he was saying.)

While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. A voice came from the cloud, saying, "This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him."

When the voice had spoken, they found that Jesus was alone. The disciples kept this to themselves, and told no one at that time what they had seen. Luke 9:28-36

Isn't this the most remarkable happening?
Peter, John and James must have been totally swept of their feet.
It's like they stepped into a complete different world.
Jesus was transformed into a heavenly creature and Moses and Elijah were of the same making. Then there was Gods voice speaking from heaven.
Awesome!

Did you notice that the transformation of Jesus happened while He was praying?
Prayer lifts you into the presence of God.
Being in the presence of God is truly an enlightening experience.
He reveals Himself to you and enlightens your spirit to understand the scriptures and to hear His voice.
Sometimes you see His glory just like these three disciples.

When Moses came down from the mountain, his face reflected the light of God that had shone on him while he was in His presence.

"When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD. When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him." Exodus 34:29-30

 "When Moses finished speaking to them, he put a veil over his face.
But whenever he entered the LORD's presence to speak with him, he removed the veil until he came out. And when he came out and told the Israelites what he had been commanded, they saw that his face was radiant .
Then Moses would put the veil back over his face until he went in to speak with the LORD." Exodus 34:33-35

No wonder we're going to shine like the stars in heaven when we will be with the Lord eternally. But you and I can already experience a little bit of heaven right here.

You can enter the cloud of Gods glory just like the three disciples simply by praying and praising the Lord. Every time you do you will become stronger more radiant, reflecting God's glory to the world.
And oh, how they need to see His glory.
When you touch them they should feel Gods love melting their hearts, renewing their hope and healing them, physically and mentally.

Aren't you just longing to be a vessel filled with Gods glory?
I have given my body mind and soul to God so He can fill me and use me to glorify His name. This is my highest goal in life.

For some their highest goal is to be rich and famous, but the face of this world is already disappearing, the boat is sinking and we need to save those on it.

I think I saw the "Titanic" the movie about the huge boat that sank, maybe three times.Every time someone else wanted to go and see it and they wanted me to come along.

It's a romantic and tragic movie at the same time.
I remember the scene where the boat starts to sink but the wealthy upper class passengers just went on partying not realizing the grave reality.
Finally they did but then it was too late for many of them.

The world is sinking into darkness and despair, but many people don't grasp the grave reality even Christians. It's time to wake up, we're sinking.
We need to grab our life vest, 'the salvation in Christ' and try to bring these vests to as many as possible.

But in order to succeed we need to be skilful. The Holy Spirit, God's precious and beautiful Spirit, will teach us the trade of the art.
I long to be clothed with His glorious presence.
I just hunger and thirst for it so much, it's my greatest desire.

That's why I spent as much time a possible on my knees in His presence.
It's a wonderful place to be, I can assure you. He says 'seek and ye shall find'.

I'm sure that I will find what I'm so earnestly seeking. It just breaks my heart to see people crippled, blind and bound by satan.
I want to bring God's deliverance to them, so I cry out day and night for God to fill me up and use me. I know He will grant me my wish.

What about you? Are you filled with compassion or are you just going through the motions? Don't you realize that every second somebody somewhere is in pain or is dying in sin? Sometimes we fall asleep as Christians 'cause our little cozy live is so comfortable. I have experienced that stage also. But God woke me up.

God has so much more for us. More than we've ever dreamed of.
Come with me and enter the cloud of His glory.
Let's be mighty warriors together courageously saving those who are drowning in sin.

He that is in us is more than he that is in the world.
The prophet Elisha knew this all too well.

"Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them."
And Elisha prayed, "O LORD , open his eyes so he may see."

"Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha." 2 Kings 6:16-17

 He saw Gods glory surrounding him all day.
I have seen things of the spiritual realms and with me many more.
You can also have your share of Gods revealing glory, it's not something strange.
It's 'out of this (earthly) world' but it's reality in the kingdom of God .

The kingdom of God is in you. God lives in you!
Allow Him to glorify His name through you!
I'm even urging you to do so. You will be greatly rewarded.

I will embrace you and kiss your face when we get to heaven.
We will shine as one light in the presence of our loving Father.
I wish I could hold Him tightly now.
He's so sweet and warm, so tender and kind.
He's all I ever dreamed of. He dreams of us day and night.

I want to feel His Spirit caressing my heart lifting me to highest heights and the deepest depths of love. Do you want to soar together with me?
