Could it Be?

Since I last wrote about the strange weather at the beginning of the year it hasn't become any different.

More earthquakes occurred and even volcanoes erupting, the latest one in Iceland.

This to me seems a contradiction since ice and fire do not mix well. It has a devastating result when mixed together as we all see and read on the latest’s news.

There are clouds of volcanic ash hovering over parts of Europe and air traffic has been stopped because of this.

There has never been such a great non flight restriction because of a volcanic eruption.

As I looked on in amazement on how the earth and sky are seemingly out of control, I realized that it could be that Christ is soo ready to take home His church.

In a twinkling of an eye

His Word says that in a twinkling of an eye all who love Christ and are made holy in Him will be changed from mortal to immortal even while being alive.

"I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.

For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed."
1 Corinthians 15:50-52

We will be like He is in a heavenly body and will meet Him in the clouds to be with Him forever as He takes all who love Him to heaven.

There they will wait for seven years in His comforting love until the tribulation on earth has stopped.

Then they will return with Him to earth.

Chaos in the air and on land

But when He takes all who love and obey Him away even while alive, when the trumpet of God sounds, the world will be devastated as people will vanish all over the world as they are changed in a twinkling of an eye.

Imagine how it must be if people start vanishing in airplanes!

It would be chaos in the air and planes may crash as a result of that.

Maybe God has stopped the airtraffic in such a strange phenomenal way because He is going to be united with His Bride.

It could be that God in His mercy does not want planes to crash because of Him taking home His Bride.

And so maybe you and I are standing at the sunrise of the greatest event ever to beheld in the entire universe; the meeting on the clouds, of Christ and His bride.

I really wonder if this could be so now.

Any way, planes or no planes, ashes, eruptions, we should always be ready for the call of Christ to meet Him in the air.

"According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Therefore encourage each other with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
