THE SAME CROSSROADS

Society spinning around For 77 years
has come to the same crossroads
Willingly unwilling to rectify mistakes of the past
wardrums drumming along the same chords

Fuhrers morphed into different players
demanding to be appeased
Secretly molding their plows into swords

The treaty of Munich and Minsk
lausanne still in the making
All the same masquerade

Today Israel back then Czechoslovakia
The endangered left out of the panel
Their very existence placed in the hands of others

The holocaust the result from appeasement politics
annexation of many countries today just 70 years ago
families destroyed little babies fathers and mothers

Why must the cycle keep spinning along with the centrifuges
fearing ww3 many have forgotten the other side fears it to
almost complete annihilation is what it will bring
even the fuhrers dread it

Traveling from London to Birmingham
willy-nilly statements change into heroic declarations

Stand up step up the sanctions
In one accord sound the resistance
The world is placed in your hands
the future is not decided by the hands of fate

70 years of pain and sorrow now remembered
77 years ago fatal mistakes drafted

Standing at the crossroads this is your time
From your place to Lausanne let hearts declare
heroic renewed declarations wisely crafted
