I'm tired, it has been a very busy week! My body is aching for a soft warm bed.
I just want to close my eyes and sleep for a year or two. But since that is impossible to do I'll settle for a good night's rest.

As I was driving home yesterday it dawned on to me that God created the whole world in just one week; my whole world has turned upside down in just one week.
If God were not in control of my life I would be in a state of confusion wondering what will happen next.

I like the story in the bible (Matthew 8:23-27) where Jesus sleeps in a boat during a raging storm. The disciples all panicked and woke Him up, asking Him if He didn't care that they were drowning. He was very disappointed because of their lack of faith. He rebuked the wind and the storm calmed down.

There is no need for you and me to be confused and anxious for anything. If Jesus is in your lifeboat, you will be safe in the midst of a raging storm. He will lead you to the haven of your desire.

 Psalm 107:29-31

“He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.
They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men.

 Let us close our eyes and sleep; our faith in His unfailing love will be greatly rewarded.
We will wake up and find ourselves to be in the haven of our desire!
