Wow, I have not written in awhile, it's because so many things were happening in and around me. Sometimes we get caught up in things.
Praise God for leading us out of trial and distress into His glorious victory.

Sometimes our lives are spiritually flooded with sorrows or problems.
Natural flooding can be devastating also.

The Hurricane that flooded Louisiana and other places was completely devastating.
So many people died and others lost everything that they had.
No technology could prevent this disaster from happening.

It made me think of the flood that covered the earth in the days of Noah. Human beings are so vulnerable. Only God can save us from spiritual and natural floods.

We need to be under His eternal wings of love. His love is a shield against any storm and the waters will not wash us away.

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:2 

So no matter what you're going through, you will not be washed away by it if you let Jesus hold your hand. Invite Him into your life and he will be your haven of safety eternally.
