God gives dreams to those who know God and to those who don’t.
King Nebuchadnezzar of Babel, Joseph son of Jacob, Joseph the husband of Mary and many more have received amazing dreams from God.

What are dreams really? Are they just a way for the mind to process our thoughts; a biological process? Or is there more to a dream then biological chemistry?

I believe there’s more to a dream then chemistry.
Our minds are occupied during our daily activities, even when believers pray they are just thinking of so many things altogether. Sometimes God can’t find a way to get His message through to us, so He uses dreams.

Maybe He wants to encourage us or warn us. They are always sent to us for our benefit or for the benefit of others. They are never sent to harm us. The devil gives disturbing frightening dreams.

Dreams can also be received consciously like the dream of Martin Luther King to achieve equal rights for his people.

If God is the author of your dream you can be sure of the end result.
So the only thing you need to do is to surrender yourself to His will and to watch in awe as He comes to complete the dream He gave you.

Surrendering ourselves to Him is sometimes hard to do however, because we often do not want to let go of being in control of our lives. We are afraid things will go wrong.

It’s really a faith issue; we need to step out in faith and let God lead us to our destiny.
It’s no use to try to make your dream come true all by yourself.
He’s the author and finisher of your faith and quite capable of doing the impossible.

So whatever your dream is for 2006 or for the rest of your life, the best way to achieve it is to be willing to surrender to God’s loving arms.

He’ll hold you tight and fall asleep with you in your little rocky lifeboat, knowing that the storms of life won’t harm you because you're right there in His arms.

Love, Monique
