THE OPEN DOOR TO HEAVEN

"See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut." Revelation 3:8

These are the words that Christ spoke to the church in Philadelphia that represents the true church that will be taken to heaven when the angel sounds the trumpet.

They will go through the open door to God's throne.

Then He shows the apostle John whom He has given these things to write down, what lies behind the open door in heaven.

"After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven.

And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this."

At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.

And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian.
A rainbow, resembling an emerald, encircled the throne.

Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads."
Revelation 4:1-4

The 24 elders dressed in white are symbolic for the church of God who is His body and His bride.

God promises us that we will be with Him, when we abide by His word and do not step to the right nor to the left but stay on the road to heaven.

It doesn't matter if we are very talented or have a great ministry or not, what matters to God is for us to keep His word and not change it for our own convenience or for whatever reason and in so doing deny His name.

"I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

I am coming soon." Revelation 3:8b,10-11

Christ has opened a great door for all people to enter in, but it will not remain open always.

As soon as the trumpet sounds, He will take home His church and the door will be shut never to be opened again.

It will be a great moment for some and a tragic moment to others who did not stick to God's almighty Word to love all people and to be holy and forgiven from sins through His blood.

So today as you arise to go about your day and workout your agenda of whatever kind, keep in mind that there is a door in heaven opened just for you.

Will you be able to enter in when the time is there or will you be too occupied to grasp the magnitude of this divine final forever altering moment in your life?

Blessings and love in Christ,

Monique
