THE EYES OF COMPASSION

The eyes of the heart are able to see
what the eyes of the mind may never perceive

Though darkness may cover sight
even the darkest night lights up with the heart's illuminating Light


Visualizing visions of earth's despair yet blinded to the cry
the inability to see while truth is right before our eyes


Many dare not to comprehend
With fallen mankind's complacent mainstream current they swiftly blend

Yet still there are stars that twinkle in the dark
shining forth compassion’s soothing spark

Eyes that see Ears that hear
bringing God’s Heart ever so near

Flowing in His Kindness divine
awakening Compassion deep inside
roaring like a Lion yet romantically
with His Spirit singing angelically


Rising above limitations of inability
against all odds against the fate of human destiny
God’s image in us becomes so clear
as we become His Hands that steer

Driving away the forces of darkness
Replacing sin’s shadows with righteousness’s brightness

Heaven and Earth together rejoice
hearkening to the sound of God’s compassionate Voice
vibrating from our most inner heart
secured in the Love that from us will never part


Aiming not for earthly wealth or fame
Consumed by the passion of righteousness flame
the stars illuminating the earth and heavens from side to side
fiercely yet gently shining from God’s heart
endow on us His resurrecting eradicating Light
