Flowers of the Earth Sea and Sky

When the heart filled with human suffering cannot fathom tragedy
When pain flashes like lightning  raining down from a clear blue sky
souls reach out to God longing to hear the answer to their desperate cry

Flowers on the sea falling down from the sky
Why do the innocent suffer abuse
drops of Heaven’s tears eternal dew
Saturating  peaceful souls  killed by satan’s few

Humanity must never be at ease while tyranny terrorizes
We must resist with all that is within the human soul
the forces of evil and doom
until the dream of unity and peace finally materializes

Flowers rising out of the mud
Weather disasters taking lives away
Fragile human existence swayed out of the day
Precious souls rising to be with Father God

We pray death will be no more
war decease poverty racism and sadness banished
love and peace to rule the hearts of all
Throughout the nations from each and every shore


Flowers on the earth asleep in clay
Flowers in the sky falling to the sea
souls emerged save in the Arms of the Father
hidden from our eyes yet evermore to be
