Moved by love
An airplane took off to the sky. In it were 11 people.
One of them was a Christian woman. It was an old airplane and because the weather was bad it started shaking all over.
Suddenly the bottom of the plane broke off and fell.
The eleven passengers quickly held on to the bar above them.They were terrified and screamed especially when the plane started to fall down because there was too much weight.
Someone had to let go of the bar and sacrifice himself for the sake of the other ten, this was the only way to land safely.
Nobody was willing to do this of course.
Then the Christian woman started to cry and said: “Oh Lord, if this is your will, I will give my life for the sake of these people. Bless them so they can continue their lives in happiness. I'll do it for the glory of Your name.”
The other ten people were so moved by the unselfish love of this woman, they spontaneously started to applaud her.
Face to Face
A woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While on the operating table, she had a near-death experience.
Seeing God, she asked, "Is my time up?" God said, "No, you have another 43 years, two months and eight days to live."
Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a facelift, liposuction and tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair colour. Since she had so much more time to live, she figured that she might as well make the most of it.
After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was run over by an ambulance and died.
Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said that I had another 40 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?"
God replied, "I didn't recognise you."
Weather forecast
Faced with the prospect of yet another freezing Christmas in Europe, a man booked a tropical getaway to Bali. His wife was on a business trip and planned to meet him there the next day.
When he reached the hotel, he decided to drop his wife a short email, but could not find the scrap of paper on which he had written her email address. At his wits' end, he tried his luck and typed in the email address from memory. But he got it wrong and his note was directed instead to an elderly preacher's wife whose husband had passed away the day before.
When the grieving widow checked her email, she took one look at the monitor, let out a piercing scream and fell to the floor in a dead faint. Her family rushed into the room and saw this note on the screen:
Dearest wife,
Just checked in. Everything's prepared for your arrival tomorrow.
Your loving husband

Breaking news
A teacher was observing her classroom of children while they drew, occasionally walking around to see each child's work.
As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked her what the drawing was about. The girl replied, "I'm drawing God."
The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like."
Without looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute."
