Do you know God? Can a person really know God?

Our earthly existence cannot comprehend or know God completely but Gods Spirit can enable our spirit to know Him.

And the wonderful thing is that He wants to make Himself known to us.
How does he make Himself known to us?

Through His Word that is enlightened to us by His Holy Spirit.

When we come to Him in humilty and love He forgives us our sins and starts to make Himself known to us.

The first thing we come to know of Him is His Godly love.

As I read the first chapter of Genesis again it was like I could see Him being so happy while creating everything in just 7 days.

"And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so.

God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness.

And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.
Genesis 1:14-18

Oh it just makes me want to hug God He's such a sweet wonderful person, creating wonderful things.
Such a blessed Saviour!

So kind and gentle, always so filled with love!

I so want to be just like He is, so kind and gentle.

Can you imagine His pain as He lookes around in the world and finds that there are just a few who are pursueing to be just like He is?

What a fall creation has made, falling from His image to the image of hatred and bitterness of the devil.

It must grief the heart of God deeply.

I wish I could say sweet words to Him that would comfort His heart and my hands could wipe His tears from His eyes.

I so love God and He loves me and all people even more than we can ever imagine.

On the seventh day He rested from His work and was satisfied and happy.

God is looking forward now to the next resting time that will come very soon; the 1000 year millenium of peace.

There it will be like paradise again with no hatred and bitterness of any kind as we take our responsibilty to surrender our bitterness and hatred to His heart where there is forgiveness for us.

Oh how marvelous it will be!!!! What a wonderful world it will be very soon!

I am so glad that we don't have to even wait for paradise to be in our lives, for when Gods love reigns in our hearts paradise already exists.

And we have no bitterness towards even those who have bitterness towards us.

Then God smiles down to us from heaven as tears of joy fill His heart when He sees Himself in our hearts.

Oh I so love God!!!!!

"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
Ephesians 4:29-32

Let there be a Genesis in our life again and let God recreate His image of love in us once more so we can be with Him in paradise now and evermore.
