"To the church in Ephesus"
"To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:
These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands: I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance.
I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.
You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.
Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. Remember the height from which you have fallen!
Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.
But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God." (Revelation 2: 1-7)
Love is....
Love let's us soar the highest heights and reaches down into the deepest part of our emotions.
Love is an incredible intense emotion and knowledge at the same time.
No wonder, for the Creator of love, God, is Love itself.
With God, it's not going through the motions, it has to be an intense emotion or else it's nothing at all.
He wants us to love Him with our whole being, heart, mind and soul.
When we first give our love and heart to Him we soar with Him on the clouds of unimaginable love.
But life can cause the love we may have for God to be clouded and set it on automatic cruise control.
This grieves God, for He is not a God of programs; He's uncontainable and unpredictable, taking us through life on roads higher than ours as His thoughts are higher than ours.
With God every day becomes a new adventure as we draw near to Him and experience His presence in our hearts and minds.
Just the thought of the Creator of the universe being our Savior and Eternal Love, can fill us with uncontainable joy.
Are you ready for a new or renewed adventure with God?
If you are, then turn or return your heart to Him who rides the heavens on His chariots of love on a quest to save us and bring us into His eternal light of intense Love.
Blessings and love in Christ,
Monique
