RESTORATION OF THE FEAR OF GOD

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cummin.

But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness.

You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.
You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel." Matthew 23:23-24

Wow, what a word!

The Lord Jesus showed the religious people just what they were doing.

And in so doing they were against Him, just like they were against all who spoke the Words from God, like Jeremiah, Elisha, Elijah, Ezekiel and others.

But also the early Church, Peter, Paul, James….

And the story was the same for them, they all were hated by the religious loveless followers, who started out right but lost their way in the religious system.

They could easily see your sins but not theirs.


Restoration of Godly fear

After Christ was risen He changed the  religious system of the Pharisees into His  Kingdom of love and the early Church displayed that well.

There was love and respect for God and others, just the way it was intended to be.

When Ananias and Sapphira sinned against the Holy Spirit by lying, they both dropped dead one after the other.

That is terrible, but God is a holy God.

So because there was such referent fear for God, unusual miracles happened and there was tremendous power to heal.

Many know that there will be a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit once more displaying tremendous miracles once again like the early Church.

But what they maybe do not know is that in order for this to happen things will have to be transformed back to the way it was in the early days of the church, the body of Christ.

When Christ steps in

Before Christ entered the scene, the Pharisees were ungodly disrespectful unloving servants of God and they had turned the house of God into a den of hypocrites and robbers.

Even so now we see many disrespectful servants of God who abuse His Holy Word through which the creation was called into existence.

It’s blasphemy in its highest form and I sense that God is going to  bring back the days of Ananias and Sapphira where people who grieve the Holy Spirit will drop dead at the spot.

They abuse the position God has given them and God is going to take it away like He took it away from Eli and even from Moses who rebelled against His Word.

Then the fear of the Lord will be restored and people will respectfully serve God and love God and others again, so the mighty outpouring of power can be displayed through the body of Christ again.

Things will be like in the days of the righteous apostles again where power had its base in loving God and others.

We may have all the gifts of the Holy Spirit but without love they are not pleasing to God.

Popular with God or people

I know this is not a popular word that people will enjoy, but this is my calling to be like Christ, like Jeremiah, to watch the flock  and show them the right direction.

In the beginning Jeremiah and even Christ  might have been startled at the opposition against them, but just like them I have come to the point where I enjoy my vocation.

We are like fish in the water when we are at the right place with Christ even if it may be in a fiery furnace, just because we only bow to God’s commandments of love and respect for Him.

So I happily write these Words that God has placed in my heart and I even like the opposition against them.

For this is why I was called into existence to glorify the name of God with exactly the person who I have been created to be.

Would I have been someone else then I would not have been able to experience all that I have experienced in order to fulfill my vocation.

I would have only seen a wonderful  life and would not have known the true spirit of people.

There is of course nothing wrong with having a wonderful life all the time, but God has to teach each of us things that are needed for our place and calling in life.

So whatever position God called you in, fulfill it with love and respect for Him for God will reward you for glorifying His name.
