THE WORLD HAS FAILED YOU

Looking into your sweet little eyes
how can I tell you the world has failed you


Failed to save you from the fire of guns
Failed to redeem you from a war stricken front

The West with all its best
is just as helpless as the rest

Helpless to decide to intervene on your behalf
Helpless to reinstate justice and order throughout the Earth
allowing evil to destroy humanity day by day month by month


Little ones shaking with fear by the sounds of bombs
Some traumatized in other ways completely numb

I weep for you with all of heaven’s saints
I pray as my heart from sorrow faints

Clouds of destruction coming your way
Yet little ones like you will see a better Day
With His Life and Love for you the price Christ has paid

Angels surround you as darkness draws near
carrying you to God’s Kingdom where you will know no fear

The end is near the world as we know it soon will disappear
battles will rage across the globe
mankind will lose all of their hope

Sweet little child come into the Arms of God where you will cry no more
Christ has prepared a better place for you where wars cannot harbour life’s shore

Where evil will never again oppress humanity
Where justice love and mercy will reign from nation to nation from sea to sea
forever and ever for all of Eternity
