SONG OF THE UNRECOGNIZED PROPHET

When friend and foe become alike
When through the desert of the night
we need the fire of God’s guiding Light

When on our shoulders the lives of others rest
When we for them must decide what is best
We hearken unto the voice of God
speaking the Word of the double edged Sword

It pierces thoughts and mind
illuminating His Life Divine
ruling the hands of time


From Ur of the Chaldeans to Egypt
From Egypt to Canaan
From Abraham to Moses
From Moses to the leaders of today
God will never cease to guide the way

Through pillars of cloud and fire
man’s technology and His miraculous intervention
the descendants of Abraham Isaac and Jacob
have been and will always be saved from the threat of extinction


Loved by some despised by others
yet always adored and cherished by the Great I Am

Blessed by some cursed by many
Still sanctified and redeemed by the blood of the Lamb

Called into existence through the Word of Promise
established through persistence onward we move never turning back
to bondage and slavery the evil years of the past


Through fire through the Lion’s den overcoming it all
carried through the Abrahamic faith in God our Great I Am
the hatred of man can never defeat the blessed of God

His love for us remains the same
it will always and forever eternally last
